Naperville IL, January 16, 2007 - Wizdom Systems, Inc. announces a
strategic, internal reorganization. A newly created position, "Office of the
President", is shared by two longtime Wizdom "Wizards", Steven Kroll and Margaret
Lawlor. Kroll and Lawlor will have responsibilities in the operation of the
company. Kroll will focus on expansion and growth, while Lawlor will focus on
accounting and finance. Additionally, longtime shareholder Rosemary Macko Wisnosky
has been elected Chairman of the Board.
"We are confident that Wizdom will continue to make great achievements and
contributions in the areas of Enterprise Architecture, BPR, DoDAF, and Special
Education," says Kroll. "We continue to invest considerable time reviewing and
planning our operations across the company," added Lawlor.
Steven Kroll
Steven Kroll joined Wizdom Systems in 1998, with 10 years experience in technology
and business. He has experience in Enterprise Architecture, project and change
management, strategic planning, business process redesign, business analysis, and
programming. A partial list of industries in which he has worked includes
information technology, banking, financial markets, telecommunications, and
government, including serving as project manager for the Department of Defense's
Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). At the DLA, Kroll led a team of DLA Program
Managers to complete a To-Be vision architecture of the Agency. The project
focused on the Logistic Research and Development arm of the DLA. Kroll has an MBA
from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management and a B.S. from Indiana State
University.
Margaret Lawlor
Margaret Lawlor is the Chief Financial Officer for Wizdom Systems, Inc. She
joined the company in 1992 from a large public accounting firm. Lawlor has
responsibility for finance, accounting, human resources, contracting, and
corporate administration. She is jointly responsible for the daily operations of
the company. Lawlor began her career in 1986 in public accounting in an audit
and financial consulting practice. She performed financial audit services for
middle market and public companies and participated in various consulting
engagements. She managed the relationships with a wide range of clients in
various industries including technology, manufacturing, and professional
services. In May 1986, Lawlor obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in
Accountancy from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, along with her
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
Rosemary Wisnosky
Rosemary Macko Wisnosky has been named Chairman of the Board for both Wizdom
Systems and Wizdom Education. A long time board member, Wisnosky has been actively
involved in long-term decisions affecting the company and was instrumental in the
sale of Wizdom Controls to Intellution in 1996. Wisnosky is Co-Broker/Owner of
RE/MAX Affiliates in Naperville, founded in 1985. She earned B.S. and M.S. degrees
in education at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio and holds a real estate
broker's license in Illinois and a sales license in Florida. She earned membership
in the RE/MAX Hall of Fame in 1989 and, with her business partners, was named
RE/MAX Broker/Owner of the Year for the Northern Illinois Region in 1986. Wisnosky
holds several industry designations and is a member of local, state, and national
realtor organizations.
Internationally, in addition to her Rotary work, Wisnosky was appointed chairman
of an ad hoc committee in Washington, D.C., in support of the Vilnius Group's
entry into NATO. At the Prague Summit in November 2002, seven of the ten member
Vilnius nations received invitations to join NATO. Additionally, Wisnosky holds
the King Svatopluk Medallion from the Lord Mayor of Nitra, Slovakia for
outstanding service to the Nitra, Slovakia/Naperville, Illinois USA Sister Cities
relationship; an Honorary Citizen designation from the Lord Mayor of Nitra (one of
only three non-Slovak citizens to receive this award) and the Slovak Medal of
Honor which was awarded jointly by the Slovak Prime Minister, the Embassy of the
Slovak Republic and the Friends of Slovakia in a ceremony held in Washington, D.C.
Wisnosky and her family serve as hosts for Slovak dignitaries, including the
President of the Slovak Republic in 1995. In 2006 Wisnosky introduced the effort
to build the Beit Benedikt Peace Academy at the Dormition Abbey in Jerusalem to
the Chicago area, which now includes the participation of St. Procopius Abbey in
Lisle as a strategic partner in this project.
