Course Description:
Wizdom’s Strategic Process Overview workshop is a prerequisite for the Performance Planning and Execution workshop. It also provides basic concepts and definitions needed for business process reengineering projects and for the institutionalization of process management in the workplace.

Students will each receive an in-depth workbook that transmits the generic concepts, supported with exercises, and provides templates to develop actual work products for the student’s agency.
At the conclusion of the workshop, students will have the knowledge to:
- Articulate the need for change and process improvement.
- Define the agency’s product portfolio and customer segments.
- Create a context chart for the agency.
- Identify the agency’s enterprise processes.
- Create a process map for the system of processes.
- Disaggregate enterprise processes.
- Define the complete hierarchy of work activities within the agency.
